We collect information you provide directly: your email address and name when you create an account. We also collect usage data such as download history and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe — we do not store your credit card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; enforce download limits; process payments; send transactional emails (receipts, account notices); and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.
4. Third-Party Services
DailySounds uses the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@dailysounds.org. Download logs may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for fraud prevention.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@dailysounds.org.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and secure password hashing. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
DailySounds is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
