Questions
What can I upload?
Original sound effects you recorded, designed or synthesized yourself: foley, ambiences, UI sounds, impacts, whooshes, voices you have the rights to, and short musical stingers. Clips from movies, TV, games, songs or other people's videos are not allowed.
How do I get paid?
Your earnings are tracked from your first download and shown on your dashboard. Payouts go to the payout email on your profile once your balance passes $20. We're switching payouts on now; the first payouts go out as soon as our payment provider finishes verifying the program, and everything you earn before then is kept.
Who owns my sounds?
You do. You give DailySounds permission to host, show and distribute them to the site's users under the DailySounds sound license. You can ask us to remove a sound at any time.
How long does review take?
Usually one to three days. You can see the status of every upload on your dashboard.
Do people see who made the sound?
Yes. Every sound you publish shows your creator name and links to your creator page, which lists all your sounds.
