What's in a pack

  • WAV files at 48 kHz / 24-bit, mono unless the sound is stereo.
  • Every file trimmed to start on the sound, peaks at or below -1 dBFS, with a clean fade-out.
  • Clear names (DS_Category_Name_01.wav), a SOUND_LIST.csv with every length, a README and the license.
  • Each pack has a free demo reel, above and on its itch.io page, so you can hear it before you buy.

The free single sounds in the DailySounds library are MP3 previews from the YouTube channel. The packs are the lossless, game-ready versions, and the synthesized packs hold sounds that aren't in the library at all.

Where the sounds come from

The real-recording packs hold sounds Daily Sounds recorded with its own microphones between 2018 and 2023, cleaned of speech and mastered. The synthesized packs were made from scratch with Daily Sounds' own procedural audio software (oscillators, filtered noise and simple physical models): no samples, no sample libraries and no generative-AI audio. The synthesis code was written with AI coding assistance.

License

Royalty-free for personal and commercial projects, including games, apps, videos, streams and client work. Don't resell or share the raw files, put them in another sound pack or asset, or register them with Content ID. Credit is optional. The full terms are in LICENSE.txt inside every pack, and the free library keeps its own sound license.
