Free Twitch Alert Sounds for Follows, Subs, Donations and Raids

Sounds for when stuff happens on stream: a chime for a new follow, a jackpot for a donation, a siren when a raid comes in, and a bunch of meme clips for channel point redeems. Most of them are under five seconds.

About these Twitch alert sounds

Alerts play right on top of you talking and whatever game you've got going, so they need to be short and easy to tell apart. Pick one sound for each thing that can happen, like a follow, a sub, bits or a donation, and a raid, and keep them the same every stream. After a few streams your chat knows what just happened before they even look.

Here's a good way to split them up. Follows and subs get something quick that won't get old, like Gentle Success Chime, Crystal Sparkle, Music Box Bell Strike or Arcade Power Up. Bits and donations get money sounds: Casino Jackpot Big Winner, Carnival Winner Bell With Ambience or Leather Coin Pouch Drop. When a raid comes in, go big with Hand-Cranked Air Raid Siren, Intruder Alert Alarm or Crowd Cheer. And a hype train pretty much needs Coney Island Steam Train Whistle.

Channel point redeems are where the funny ones go. Ohhhh Yeahhh, Rizz 2, Clown Horn Single Honk, Jaw Harp Wacky Boing and Slide Whistle all get a reaction, and so does Fat Toot. Drum Roll Build Up works right before you show a giveaway winner, and Guitar Wah Wah or Oh Shoot Dang It Doesn't Work is for when a play goes wrong.

To set one up in Streamlabs or StreamElements, open your alert box, pick the alert, like follows or donations, and upload the sound in its settings. MP3 works in both. If the alert box isn't in OBS yet, add its link as a browser source. Keep the volume lower than you'd think and run a test alert with your mic on, so nobody's headphones get blasted. Every sound page shows how long the file is and tells you if there's quiet before it starts. Trim that off so the sound hits the second the alert pops up.

You can use all of them live, in your VODs and clips, and in videos you make from your streams, monetized or not. You don't need an account to download them, and credit's not required.

Every sound here is free for personal and commercial projects, with no credit required. Read the license.
