Creator Upload Rules

These draft rules help keep the Daily Sounds library useful, legal, advertiser-friendly, and safe for creators.

Only upload sounds you can share

• Upload original recordings, original sound design, or audio you have explicit rights to distribute.
• Do not upload ripped music, TV/movie/game audio, sample-pack content you cannot redistribute, or copyrighted clips.
• Do not use misleading titles, tags, categories, or ownership claims.

Keep it advertiser-friendly

• No hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, illegal, or dangerous content.
• No malware, hidden tracking, spam, scams, or attempts to manipulate downloads or ad revenue.
• Clearly label intense sounds such as explosions, weapons, screams, or emergency sirens.

Quality expectations

• Use descriptive titles and relevant tags.
• Trim dead air and avoid broken, silent, or corrupt files.
• Choose the closest category so people can find the sound.

Moderation

Daily Sounds may review, edit metadata, reject, hide, or remove uploads that break these rules or create legal, quality, advertiser, or safety risks.
